I have the feeling I should re-watch all of STNG (which is of course the one and only Star Trek besides Voyager because it fell right into my childhood) sometime since I read that the German dubbing severly alters the subtext (aaand I found it: USA Erklärt, not Telepolis like I thought; although the article talks about Spock, so, does it still apply?).
